The 2014 Bamboo Bend Project attendees will arrive on May 9th. In preparation for their arrival, Richard Perry, one of the instructors, donated two days of labor to build and wire a dip tube cabinet. I know most people would view this as important because the finish on a rod is critical, and it is. But me not doing the "Tingly Hurty Dance" is really important also. Richard, who knows about electricity, kept everybody from dancing. The fact that he is a cool guy to hang out with is just a bonus.
Just another example of the behind the scenes work that occurs.
